    Default Good M.C. Bits Book

    Hey Everyone,
As I am beginning to book more and more stage shows as opposed to my birthday parties and strolling I am finding I need more funny lines, transition lines, stories and such. Are there any good books / resources as far as M.C. Bits and One Liners?

I currently have Harry Allen's "Sleight of Mouth" which has some funny tid bits and such in it. I am not talking about
dealing with Hecklers, so please to do not refer me to the book "How to Handle Hecklers" as I have that already.

I'm looking more for funny jokes, short stories, opening bits, funny intros, type of thing.

    Anyone?

Aldo Columbini has several e-books regarding comedy, one-liners and MCing on his website. Another great resource is Readers' Digest. There are a bunch of columns with jokes and stories each month.

Oh yea, totally check out Colombini. I don't know if his bits are funny just because of his accents, but I think Your Host For Tonight, Gagbusters 1 & 2 will be perfect. Also Here's Your Sign isn't too bad.
