    Default What should I buy?

I want to perform miracles, I want to buy a dvd set that has gimmicks and allows me to do so. Please help me choose what to buy, because I have no idea.

I get the feeling you're missing the point of magic...

Try Checking out True Astonishments Box Set . There's a bag of gimmicks in it .

Why run when you're not being chased ?

OK, because of the ways you ask and the fact that you're new in the forums, I guess you've started in magic recently, am I right?
If so, you should get a DVD or book with the basis of magic. Unless you just want to learn a trick or two, you should start learning basic sleights and tricks, saltshaker through table, some simple card stuff... I'd recommend the DVD that penguin magic offers for free. Just click here, give a valid email and they'll send you a link.
The invisible deck is also a great idea, is an amazing trick, not hard to do and pretty cheap. The svengali deck is also nice.
Finally download for free the what to read video. It'll give you some nice ideas.

    Xa2!

Do you want BROWN WYNNs? P.M. me!

I agree with you trikuxabi. Magic takes practice and you can't just hop in and be a pro magician. You should start with the penguin video and after that learn the basics of card magic. I recommend purchasing Calen Morelli's Function9 once you're ready.

By books on presentation, Showmanship for Magicians is like $10 the Fitzkee Trilogy is about $20 a book and Maximum entertainment is $35. These books will help you a lot more done the track rather than any gimmicks or single trick DVD's.

If you must have a gimmick or DVD I would suggest looking into some form of swami.
