Default The Takedown crooked gambling tv series?

Hi there, i 'd like to know if anybody has seen this tv series, with R.Paul Willson, Jason England co produced by Damian Nieman, the director of Shade.

I'm trying to find them everywhere but i can not get it, no dvd's, no nothing.

The story is about a team of cardsharks trying to beat casinos.

    Thank you.

Are you talking about the Real Hustle, the documentary? Or are you talking about the Takedown, because that was a big flop and it is really hard to find anything on it.

    Christopher,

DVDs of the episodes (there were 12 in all) were not produced. This isn't uncommon for a show that only ran a single series. Other than that, what exactly did you want to know?

    Jason

PS: RediSpades - The Takedown wasn't a smashing success, but labeling it a "big flop" is ignorant of the numbers we were seeing when those shows aired. With the massive number of channels available these days (and in 2005), getting a small, niche audience is perfectly reasonable. "Big flops" are typically cancelled after only an episode or two. Our show ran the entire season and was well-received by the public, even though myself and others thought the show had all kinds of internal problems.

    Jason,

I don't know why, but you seem to always come on at the wrong times and all of my comments are often misconstrued. Big flop was probably not the best of word choice there. I was just saying that it wasn't successful. I do apologize about my word choice, it was poor.

Thank you for the fast answer Mr England, what i was looking for is watching all the episodes again, i'd like to purchase the original DVD's but if you say that the show was never produced on DVD I'm lost.
If anyone can send me any kind of Info of someone with the episodes recorded on DVD or whatever i'd appreciate it very much.

    Brandon,

Don't worry about it. No offense was taken. Just keep in mind that the actual words used in a given post are all we've got to go on around here.
