    Default Glad to be here!

Hey, everybody. I came across this forum about a week ago and am glad I did. I have only taken up magic in the last 4 weeks, I am 35...I'm not sure why I waited so long but I am hooked. I teach middle school and my students have been a really receptive audience between classes as I try new card tricks on them daily .

I have been learning alot from the Royal Road book and also from you guys. There are some sleights I am stumbling with but I hope will become easier with time time and practice.

Thanks in advance for your card tips and insight, I am really enjoying this forum.

It's never too late to start, I started late myself and have reaped the benefits of having such a rewarding hobby. Most hobbies you don't really have to practice, which is why magic is so great! Enjoy T11, it's the best place in magic to be!

Any new member is always a welcome addition!
And you said you're a teacher? I reccomend you look into Joshua Jay's newest book : The Complete Course To Magicm it has a ton of material including cards, coin, mentalism and effects for kids! Also it has an awesome effect called Mathmagic that does the impossible. A spectator names any card and a square with 9 inner squares is drawn and filled in with numbers under 30 seconds, every row, diagonal, corner and center numbers add up to the number the spectator picked!

    Peace, Bryan

I second all the recommendations he stated!
