Do you gain points for the archive by publishing free effects on the wire aswell (instead of only priced ones)? And do you get points for wire-releases in the past?
If so, how do those points...

It does support wmv, never had a problem so far. Maybe there was an error while rendering, have you tried re-rendering the video and then submitting it? Maybe that helps.

if its only 2 seconds I'll assume that you're opening with a sybil to get into something like z-grip. In that case there are a number of different ways to get into this grip without using a sybil...

There are other versions than the Pro version of Vegas aswell. For example the Movie Studio Version, which costs like 50€. Doesn't have as much compositiong and scripting features than the Pro...
