Need some help choosing!

Im gett dangerous and a brick of gaurdians and Bealive but im looking for one more trick thats Quick and will give a great reaction. I have Panic and that is probly my favorite One and Done ending trick but i want something to do quick im trying to eaither get Digatal Dissovle(little scepticle about the gimmick) OR TnR AND Distorion(Scepticle about the gimmick and how long it will last)???

P.S. this is stuff im Gettin for my BDay im also gettin a Xbox 360 so im happy! just puttin that out there... LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK????????????????

Dude, check your grammer man..
Anyways, one thing I would recommend is 5 Speed. Since its a 1on1 its cheaper than the tricks you mentioned, and it gets great reaction, and is also easy to do. I also have distortion, and thats great too. The gimmick will last you a long time as long as your careful with it. So yeah, hope it helped.

By the way I have a 360 too, they're amazing :D

TnR is probably the most impractical torn and restored card ever, and distortion and D.D are good but if you are looking for the cleaner of the two D.D is cleaner gimmickwise.

Yeah filth is right. All the trilogy tricks are short, amazing, and impromptu. I would definitely recommend this. But they are hard so watch out.

Yeah i got The whole trilogy set, I can get most of the tricks... but when its time to perform i like forget them all!!! It allways happens... but i also think i may add 5-speed and also Shifty<<< Thanks! I think im getting DD

PP.S i heard the DD gimmick wont last too long, saw some reveiws ... i mean im spending $50 bucks on a set of coins you think they will last long?

Witness is pretty nice and its quick and powerful. I use it in my routine all the time.

My opinion?

Stop - Don't purchase anything.

You've got Dangerous and Believe on their way and you already own The Trilogy and Panic. I'm sure you have a few other items in your posession.

All I'm saying is the stuff you've got on your list is MORE than enough to create a kick-arse routine.

Magic (in terms of effects) isn't about having the latest and greatest, it's about BEING the latest and greatest - Your audience doesn't care how much magic you show them, they care about THE magic you show them. I could have all the magic products in the world but I wouldn't know how to use any of them. Armed with nought but a double lift and a double-backer, I've got a miracle in my mind.

I was in school in one of my frees after a day of lessons and I had my Banachek PK Sharpie on me. I was just fooling around with it and a small group of people saw it peripherally and asked me what I was doing. I explained how I'd "Been looking into the Uri Geller world [etc. etc]." and I offered to demonstrate with the sharpie.

After about 3 times to prove I wasn't blowing on it, I said I'd try something I'd never done before, turned around and took 5 paces away from the pen. Made my concentrating action and the pen fell inexplicably. They all screamed and asked me to do it again. I said, just once more and coughed deliberately to build suspense. I did it once more and coughed loudly, one person asked me to do it again and because of the way I'd built this up, one other actually said "No don't, look it's hurting him man." I put my pen away and sat back down with a drink.

Successful performance by my standards and for me personally. Overall it was a 10-15 minute performance.

Do you see how even though I only did one thing, it was a successful performance in it's own right? Sure having material is good, but you have to settle-down sometimes, stop and just look at what you have and create fantastic magic with it. :)

Yeah they are. I agree with Sean, have you ever thought about adding your own patter, building suspence. One of the differences between a kid who knows tricks and a magician is that a magician can build suspence, and make magic more than a way to fool and impress people. Don't just try and learn a ton of tricks, fool people, buy a new trick. Try to perfect your tricks.

Anyways, on to your question. Get a book! On average, they're about the cost of a DVD, and on average, have about twice as much material. If you want real bang for your buck, books are the way to go! Here are some books I enjoyed:

-Dominatricks by Tyler Wilson

Check out some books, you'll be surprised what awesome stuff you can learn from them.
