you should tear up the cards at the end.
thats what i do.

thats what youre supposed to do
thats how its taught by jenkins
and also E ripped this trick off and called it voodoo zone
they teach you to rip it as well
jenkins rips it almost all the way but leaves a tiny bit
so as he hold one half
the other half dangles inverted by that little piece

the only thing is that you should tear he cards at the end and when you are sliding it in and out don't do it so fast. You can play up the moment and have some fun acting.
