Where could I go to have a hand-made gimmick re-created to perfect quality?

I have a gimmick made from a card box, but since it is home made, the cutting isn't perfect, it's already getting destroyed and the sides are getting frayed. Also, the cuting is pretty much way off.

Where could I go to get it precision cut and well-made? Would I have to contact the USPCC, or could i just make the shape and get it nicely cut by pros?

Thanks

Check it out on penguin magic....

Teaches how to make home made gaff cards
with the profesional quality your looking for...

The only bad thing is its a bit pricey.. 30 bucks...

It doesnt sound like he is after modifying a Card, more so the Box.

If it doesnt give too much away, what is needed?

PM Me if you have to.

Different tools may be able to help you :)

What I want to do is to cut out the bottom part of the box, so it's like a 'shell'. Then make a slit at the bottom.

You could probably use an exacto knife of sorts? Should be fine man, just do it slow, use something to keep it in shape.

If the edges are stuffing up use some sort of light glue as 'protection'

Also, places like penguin and some magic shops sell empty boxes. That way you do not have to buy a new deck every time you need to prepare a box or gimmick it. They may not be the cheapest thing in the world, but you should spare some cash to make sure you get your practice in to construct the gimmick. Sorry that this does not answer your original question regarding professionally made gimmicks, but I honestly do not know where you could go to get those.

some stores sell flat boxes that need gluing together so you could just cut off the bottom part before gluing it all together, then it would look professional.

hope this helps

Another great idea! Wow, I must be really thick.

Thanks for that. It will make it soo much easier to build and it will, of course, look better.
