View Full Version : Daniel Garcia :: Fallen

I was screwing around on Ellusionist when I noticed that they put up a small banner advertising Danny G's new effect called "Fallen".
I was wondering if anyone knew any information about it. I've heard the name here and there, but I've got no clue as to what it actually is. It sounds like it has something to do with coins, but I'm not certain.
Check it out.
Thanks.

No, its an ACR closer.
The effect is an impromptu card slowly rising up through the deck.
I had the pleasure to see Danny do it for me a few months ago..
Its AMAZING.
Everyone knows the old trick where the card rises up through the deck
while its in the box. Its loaded with gimmicks...
This is anytime, anywhere, borrowed cards.
I love it, and when its released im sure you guys will too!

No.
While thats is very cool, imo Dannys is much better, and IS more visual.
The card is protruding from the deck, and it MELTS through the other cards
as it rises... its amazing.

Its similar to that, but there is no jerkiness to it at all.
The deck is held facing them at eye level, and the card slowly rises up.
Honestly I cant think of ANY other effects to compare it to.

Calvin is on the money!
Those two videos do not even come close to the cleaness of Fallen.
When I was on my southern tour last yr I stayed with Danny for a week and a half. Fallen was one of the first things he showed me...it looks SOOOO good!

Shouldn't it be called Risen then?
Any who, sounds like a slow-motion visual Raise Rise type of effect. If it's impromptu and as visual as the in the box elevator type ones, then i'm sold.

hey i heard about the new effect by Daniel Garcia called fallen. i checked out E but all anyone seems to know is that it is a final to an ACR. does anyone have anymore info?
Maybe Wayne Houchin is able to spill the beans or is it top secret?
TKH

uhh.... if Its Danny Garcia's effect, isn't it a bit wrong asking Wayne to spill the beans about it.

There was just another thread made very recently that is almost the same as this. Search first next time.
http://forums.theory11.com/showthread.php?t=3960
Check over there. All we know is that its an ACR finale, with the card, protruding, slowly melting it's way to the top. Release date isn't announced yet. And I don't think Wayne would know the release date, since it's E's release, and Wayne's working in T11.

Bruce Wayne, I believe that Justin had reccomended Calvin's stuff in the past. I never saw an age limit for selling lecture notes. Didn't the bucks have theirs out at 16? miller dude as you so put him, has a name. Please be a little respectful.
black_dove
January 3rd, 2008, 05:13 PM
oh
now that you and the miller dude kissed and made up.
you could talk to him about lectures and stuff. lecture notes how old are you.
[EDIT by moderator: Please refrain from attacking other members and from posting inappropriate content - Thanks, JTM]
I am 14.
And thanks Jack, you saved the day.
And to TKH, yes they were 16, I think they actually
released a video of flourishes. It might have been lecture notes,
I'm not sure.
Either way, age isnt so much a problem, In my opinion, it all comes
down to talent, experience, and your love for magic.
And one more thing, like THK said, give Justin some respect.
The guy is awesome, and I think qualifies to have his real name used.
Bruce, I have no clue how old YOU are, but your the one acting like
a kid. So please, start being respectful, and kind to EVERYONE. Thanks.

give miller respect. hes rips of everyone he stole the id3a of transfixed and the second move of silver dream they all are a bunch of thieves him and his friends.
give respect to a man like that never.
I am postive using a plot of someone elses is not unethical. I ahev not heard about the thing abotu the second move of silver dream, but if so thats not the whole routine, its a move, not a routine being copied.
Idea is spelled as so, there are no 3s in it.

I saw something similar to what you speak in a demo (it was on ellusionist) done by an asian guy for their ghost deck. it was at the end of an ambicious, and he held the cards there (i think) with one card sticking out, and i could see that card sliding throughevery card above it to the top.

Dang. Danny G is a beast.
One of my first and favorite routines has got to be the ACR. It's just so open for you to do anything you want with it.

That's nothing like it. That is a very old move, and with Fallen, the card is supposedly sticking out halfway.

I'd like to know this too, but I have a feeling that it will be a while before anyone will have a good answer for us.
I'd also like to know if any deck could be used.
