Any chance of letting me know how long they will be up. I can't get them yet. I'm 13 and my mom wouldn't let me get them this close to Christmas. How long will you be selling them?
Happy Holidays,

It says "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST", so whenever they run out is when they will stop selling them. They will sell as many as they have, but no one knows how long it will take them to run out.

3 Questions,

Does the price 6.95 includes shipping? If it doesn't why are the red and blue more expensive than the brown ones? I thought the brown ones have a lower quantity compared to their red and blue counterparts?

Hey bucks, is there any way that you can let people only buy a maximam of 12 decks. I don't think it would be fair if people constintaly go back and buy brick after brick like the brown wynns.

Ben Morris-Rains
December 20th, 2007, 01:06 AM
Well just bought a brick of half red and half blue. I really hate credit cards. Oh well, once again I think it would be silly to pass up this investment, with the brown decks getting around 30 bucks a deck right now, and the blue and red ones getting more, definitly a worth while investment.

Of course I'll be opening a couple to see how they feel...

Get em while their hot.

Bought a Brick of Brown Wynns. Just bought a brick of Red and Blue Wynns. Good thing I don't have a financial advisor, he'd be really annoyed at me right now. God I'm a sucker for their back design I've been in heaven ever since the brown ones arrived (drools).

I appreciates the effort Dan and Dave did to give us a chance to own the red and blue wynns. But I have doubts over the rationale of the pricing for these Wynns.

Previously, T11 told us that they were on the hunt for the brown wynns which was acclaimed to be the rare ones among the 3 colors. Now with the red and blue wynns are for sale, the prices for this seems to be higher than the rare ones. It doesn't make sense isn't it?

The way these red and blue Wynns are priced seems to reflect that the Twins are trying to make a quick profit from the current 'Wynn Hype' I hope Dan or Dave will come out and say something about it to clarify all doubts. Please do not treat us for suckers.

I'm trying to make a point that we shouldn't jump onto something immediately just because it is advertise as 'While Stock Lasts' or 'Rare' and pay a crazy price for it. (in short, we look like donkeys paying for everything that they've throw at us)

Please do not take offence at my post. I'm trying to bring across what it seems to be happening here. Totally my personal opinion. I totally respect the Buck Twins, the artists and the crew from T11, but just advising the consumers to sit down and consider the value of something before paying for it.

Regardless, they sell for even more on ebay so it's still a good deal. This IS the cheapest you can get these decks from anywhere else i've seen.

Of course they are on the Wynn bandwagon, this is buisness. People want Wynns, Wynns are hot, they can charge anything and people would buy them. I'm sure the higher price also has to do with the fact T11 has a lot more money behind it than Dan and Dave do, so they need to turn profit faster in case they don't sell them all. If you have a problem with supply and demand, then you should probably go encase yourself in a little bubble and stay there forever. Magic is not a go happy playground that everyone seems to think it is, they sell products, we are consumers. I personally like products :D

if anyone in toronto wants to split a half and half brick, let me know.

Let me know how much this would be, and I might be in :)

I'd want both Dan and Dave to sign both colours (only 1 deck of each colour is enough)....so I can keep those for my collection :)

I'm confused though.....don't hate me for asking this which has probably been asked a million times, but ...... isn't the Wynn Casino still open? Don't they still produce cards? How are these decks selling for $6-7 online when you can probably get them direct from the casino for $1 or so each.....

--- EDIT ----

I just did the math, and after shipping it would be about $85 to deliver to Toronto.....which works out to about $7.10 a deck...which isn't worth it :(

I'd buy 1 or 2 decks, but I'm not dropping $40 for 6 decks....I can't afford that, nor do I think it's worth it. (just my opinion)

yeah, same here, that's why i wanted to split it.

Ideally i'd want 4 (2 of each colour - one to open, one to keep for later)

if we split it 3 ways, it's a little better. 4 each. any other takers?

Are all these decks from dananddave.com signed, or first edition, or more stiff or something?

Stop compaining guys. Once again you don't appreciate this nice offer. I don't care about the raritey, I just want to know if they handle good. I think the reason it costs a dollar more is because there shipping is cheaper then theory11. So pretty much buying a brick there is cheaper than buying brown wynns.

Also where can you find that place that sells them for 2.99?

Same. I'm really pissed right now. Oh well, my fault for having trust in them.

EDIT: But I'm waiting for something from the Bucks on this one. They've been nothing but fair and honest before, so there may be an explanation for this.

What I don't understand is why they ARE selling on ebay for $50.

You can go to ebay right now and find a $20 buyitnow for two wynns by ace-king.

I wouldn't want my cards signed. That just makes the value go down. I e-mailed them, so hopefully they can answer some of my questions.

You mean you bought them just to sell them later?

They look pretty nice, and are the closest things I've seen to jerry's.

Steve Simmons

Here's something you all might have not thought of......

The Gamblers General Store is a lot bigger than Dan and Dave.....really, they are. With all the products they sell, versus what the Bucks sell on their site is pretty significant to say the least. Perhaps the GGS got a better deal on them because they bought more, therefore each deck is cheaper. They can afford to buy many more decks than the Bucks, thus pass the savings onto the customer.

Just my thoughts.......
Steve

guys, save your emotions for when everything is explained. I'm sure DandD are not in this for the $$. Seriously, look at how much the trilogy costs. I'm not the only one who thinks the trilogy was underpriced.

I'm sure there is an explanation to this process. Remember they don't control the world. If they really believe they got the last batch because the person who sold it to them said it was the last batch, can you really blame them?

Are you seeing the reactions in here? It's not about the supply, demand or that little bubble theory of yours. Nobody likes to be ripped off for no reason, (with you as an exception of course)

This should be a lesson learnt, look for alternative sources before jumping into it. It's always cheaper to cut off the middleman.

P.S. Hopefully Dan or Dave can stand out and explain the situation here, I've know they are always trying to give us the best they could. Maybe there is really a reason why these decks are priced higher.

Let's see what Dan and Dave said: "Recently selling on ebay for well over $50 a deck, these babies are scarce! Experience them for yourself WHILE SUPPLIES LAST"

They never said there was 12 of them in the world. They said that they were selling for $50 at Ebay (True Fact), then it says they are scarce (I would consider only being available at 1 or 2 other stores pretty scarce), While Supplies Last is a common marketing ploy, EVERYTHING is while stocks lasts, if they dont have any, they can't sell it. Doesn't mean they don't have 50,000,000 decks, the statement is still true.

I bought from dananddave because the gamblersgeneralstore needs me to call them for international orders, and that's just more hassle (Getting an international calling card) or money (Calling the number straight) than I save by just buying from Dan and Dave. If you are so annoyed about getting "ripped off" then just cancel your order. If you bought the cards because of marketing jargon or because you thought they were rare, especially without checking the facts then, too bad for you. I'm actaually glad there is lots of them, now I can actually use them rather than having to be all careful because I can't buy anymore.

Hi Guys,

When we released the Red and Blue Wynn decks last night on our site, we were unaware, as was much of the community, that they would become readily available on other online sites. It was strictly our intention to provide you guys with these awesome cards as we knew of their demand and wanted to make you happy. We never meant to "pull a fast one," or to give you guys anything less than a good deal. We sincerely apologize for the scenario.

We appreciate and value your support more than anything. To make up for it, here is what we have come up with. We have changed the price of the Red & Blue Wynn Decks on our site to $2.99 plus shipping for all future orders. This price is extremely competitive to what others sites are selling the Red and Blue Wynn's for. For those of you who have already purchased, you will receive the exact amount of decks you ordered-- times TWO. Completely on the house. No additional shipping costs, either. If you ordered one, you'll get two. If you ordered 12, you'll get 24. If you ordered 36, expect 72 in the mail soon.

We hope that this demonstrates our loyalty to you guys, as you have done with us.

Happy Holidays,

Dan & Dave Buck

I may wanto purchase the Wynns that Dan and Dave are selling on there site, thank God, I can finally buy a deck of Wynns... thanks Dan and Dave for putting them out! Anyway I noticed that there is another thread selling Purple Wynns. I'm just wondering how many decks are in a brick of cards? I do like the Purple Wynns simply for the fact that they look "girly" and may make a nice presentation against certian backgrounds. The Bule and Red Wynns are fantastic too!
