I was wondering if all 3 DVDS on this site involves a gimmick? I'm pretty sure Digital Dissolve does. Can anybody clear this up for me?

Yes, Digital Dissolve is gimmicked. On the Product page it mentions the fact that it comes with coins made by Jamie Schoolcraft. He makes some of the best coins in the industry, so Digital Dissolve should be really good.

You can check out his site at:

My question to you all is does it really matter?

Impromtu or not, requires a gimmick or not, that doesn't bother me in the least. Some magic doesn't, some does. But, think of how you felt the first time you saw it performed. Don't you want to pass that feeling onto YOUR spectators?? :)

Best.

Your right, but you also need to make sure you don't have to many gimmicks. In my mind, if someone hands you a deck of cards, and you can hardly do anything with them, you have to many gimmicks.

You're totally right about this.Though I don't mind a gimmick here and there.

I was asking mainly about Panic. I was wondering if the Kings were gimmicked. If they were not then I might want to go into a Mercury or possibly an Asher Twist from there. Time will tell...

Yeah, I don't see why people really care about gimmicks. Gimmicks can be your best friends. Gimmicks that are practical anyway and those kinds of things we can surely find here.

Judging by the ignorance of your post I can understand also why it makes no sense and every word is almost spelt incorrectly.

Just because you think it sucks, it sucks? I don't think so, you try doing a sleeveless version of panic, with no sleights, that is impromptu, the same applies to distortion, you won't get a cleaner moving pips effect than that, which makes up for the gimmicks for sure.

Will it be impromptu?

It's not the fact that you spell things wrong, it's the fact that you're spelling and grammar is so bad that your posts are barely readable, spell check is your friend...

The only thing with gimmicks is that you don't always have them with you.

Also i like gimmicks because illegal downloader's still cant do the trick when they have watched it!!

All Good.

I don't mind gimmicks, but I prefer Sleight of hand over them any day. I'd say I have about 90% Sleight and 10% gimmicked. The effects do look amazing and I wouldnt mind giving them a try.

It has been stated a few times by T11 staff that when you buy something from them you will get what you need to perform it. If there is a gaff/gimmick/etc required to perform the effect it will be included as a part of the package.

Cheers,
Jim

In that case, it would mean that only DD is gimmicked.

On the product pages for both Panic and Distortion, only a 'High-Res DVD' is stated to be the ordered item.

So, yea.

?

Who cares if it is a gimmick, your spectators are not going to know that it is a gimmick all they are going to see is a full pack of cards becoming only the four kings, think about it, it is a miracle even if it is a gimmick. Just thinking of a gimmick that will make this happen is a great achievement.

Well done Aaron Fisher,

Okay this thread is done-skii. I ordered panic and distortion and the delivering info said the gimmicks were shipped with it. You don't have to order D.D. to find out if it's gimmicked or not, it's on the page. So there you have it.
